New York Jets Tickets

The New York Jets play in the Eastern Division of the American Football Conference in the National Football League (NFL), and play their home games at the Giants Stadium, which is also home to the other professional football team of New York – the New York Giants. The Jets, however, prefer calling their base The Meadowlands, as the stadium bears the name of their rival NFL team. The Giants Stadium is located in the Meadowlands Sports Complex, a massive complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

At present, the New York Jets train on Long Island, at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Their new training facility as well as their corporate headquarters is coming up at Florham Park, New Jersey.

The Team History

The Jets were originally named the New York Titans, and started as charter member of the American Football League (AFL), in 1960. Sony Werblin, head of Music

Detroit Lions Tickets – Coaching Search Narrows

The Detroit Lions made history this season, but not in a good way. They became the only team in all of NFL history to finish the season 0-16. While this record wasn’t one that team’s fight for, it did equal some hope for fans as it meant the team would have to go for a major overhaul in the offseason. First, they fired president Matt Millen midway through the season. Coach Rod Marinelli knew he was next, and sure enough, the Lions cut him loose at the end of the season. Other teams who dropped their coaches at the end of the season, like the Cleveland Browns and the Denver Broncos, have already chosen replacements, and the Lions seem to be getting closer to picking their next leader as well. Two of the front runners seem to be Todd Bowles and Jim Schwartz. Be there for the next era with Detroit Lions tickets from http://www.stubhub.com/detroit-lions-tickets.

Schwartz has reportedly already been back for a second interview with the Lions, which means a

NFL Tickets – Cracking Down on Character

Some professional athletes think they’re invincible; they feel as though they play by different rules than the rest of us in life.  Contrary to what they may have convinced themselves of, despite all the money, fame and fanfare, they have to abide by the same rules in their everyday lives as we do, and there are consequences for their actions.  It’s common knowledge that star athletes are protected for much of their young lives, perhaps never more than when they’re in college.

Top players are often treated with kid gloves throughout their collegiate careers, frequently allowed to slide on class attendance and treated like royalty on campus.  This kind of treatment often results in an attitude that reeks of self-entitlement and the feeling that nothing can touch them.  While this isn’t the case with every pro athlete, it certainly applies to some.  Thankfully, the National Football League has been putting their foot down as of late, in the commissioner’s

Oakland Raiders Tickets – Cable Reportedly Staying

The sources coming out of the Oakland Raiders are saying that the search for the Raiders next head coach is over and the man of choice is Tom Cable, who took over midway through the 2008 season as the Raiders interim head coach. Oakland Owner Al Davis fired head coach Lane Kiffin partway through the 2008 season after the Raiders got off to a rough start. The Raiders have also chose to bolster other parts of their game by naming Paul Hackett as their new quarterbacks coach and Dwaine Board to coach the defensive line. Fans can be there to cheer on the new coaching staff with Oakland Raiders tickets from http://www.stubhub.com/oakland-raiders-tickets/.

Cable is no stranger to the NFL or coaching. He was a standout guard at Idaho before spending one season playing in the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts. He became a graduate assistant at his alma mater in 1987, and he stayed for two seasons. He took the same role with San Diego State for a year before

NFL Tickets – Two Teams Add Defensive Coordinators

Even before the 2009 Super Bowl has kicked off, many teams are scrambling to solidify their coaching staffs. Teams around the league have changed everything from assistants to head coaches, with expected dismissals as well as shocking firings. The Indianapolis Colts anticipated that well-respected head coach Tony Dungy may not return for the 2009 season, and Dungy decided just that early in the offseason. The Colts may not have been expecting the departure of their defensive coordinator Ron Meeks, who resigned after Dungy announced his retirement. Meeks has not been hired as the next defensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers. The Baltimore Ravens were also left without a defensive coordinator this offseason when Rex Ryan became the next head coach for the New York Jets. They chose to promote from within, naming Greg Mattison as their next defensive coordinator. Fans can be there to support the new coaching staffs with NFL tickets from

Dallas Cowboys Tickets- Cowboys Lose One Jones, Add Back Another

There has been good news and bad news coming for the Dallas Cowboys as of late. During week 11, they added back quarterback Tony Romo. Soon after, they got the news that suspended cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones would be reinstated for the NFL and able to play for the Cowboys for the final games of the season. It can’t all be rosy for the Cowboys, however, and that was proven when the Cowboys had to put rookie Felix Jones on injured reserve. After a stellar start, the Cowboys have had a rough middle of the season and are currently trying to turn their 6-4 record into a playoff berth. With top players back, that might just be a possibility.

Pacman Jones was placed on suspension after an alcohol-fueled scuffle between Jones and his assigned body guard at a hotel in Dallas on October 7. Someone on the hotel staff phoned police but no arrests were made. The reason that the NFL was so quick to suspend Jones even without an arrest is Jones’s past exploits

Miami Dolphins Tickets- Dolphins See Eventful Loss to Patriots

Who could have ever predicted after last season that one of this year’s most entertaining and heated matchups would be between the Miami Dolphins and the New England Patriots? Last year, the Dolphins finished 1-15 while the Patriots were perfectly undefeated during the regular season. Week 12 of the 2008 season, however, found both teams tied for second in the AFC East at 6-4. The Dolphins surprised the Patriots earlier in the season with a 38-13 win over New England during week three. Since then, the Patriots have been waiting for a chance to prove themselves, which they did during the week 12 matchup. The Patriots ended up on top 48-28, putting them in second place and the Dolphins tied for third with the Buffalo Bills.

The Dolphins were incredibly consistent during the match, scoring exactly one touchdown every quarter. Even with the 20-point loss, the Dolphins had some positives. They took the lead from the Patriots on three separate occasions,
