NFL Football Playoffs AFC Divisional Round

NFL Football Playoffs – AFC Divisional Round Let us begin with the Jets. They are looking good. They took down the AFC North champion with a bit of ease. Their defense is strong. Strong enough to have kept Chad Ochocinco under control for most of the game: he only ran 28 yards for the night. Quarterback Mark Sanchez had a brilliant performance in his first ever playoffs. He completed 12 of his 15 attempts for one touchdown and 182 passing yards. And both their defense and the team’s ability to run the ball have given quite good results. In the Jets last 7 games, the team’s defense has not allow more then 15 points per game. But now Sanchez is going to face the Chargers at home, and it’s not quite certain if he is going to play like he did last week. Even though the Jets have an impressive defense, they are facing a team that has scored more then 20 points in their last 20 games. Now the Chargers have won 11 games in a row, and they might just keep up their

Quarter’s Worth of Opinions on the NFL

After the first quarter of the National Football League season has been completed, fans can step back and review the early results. I have noticed some developing trends. The following are my observations, broken down by division.

American Football Conference, Eastern Division: Before the quarterback Mark Sanchez finally played like a rookie, Jets’ fans were dreaming of a “Subway Super Bowl” against their cross-town nemeses. Regardless of that loss, the Jets still hold a slight advantage over New England, thanks to their win in the second week. As of it appears now, both team are headed to the playoffs.

American Football Conference, Northern Division:No clear front-runner has emerged yet. Baltimore and Cincinnati are tied at 3-1, followed by 2-2 Pittsburgh. One has to wonder if the Bengals can sustain early-season success in view of recent years of failure. Also, are the Steelers simply feeling lingering effects of Super Bowl hangover and will recover in

Not Available to Public

Watching a visitor enter New York City for the first time has always been the equivalent of watching a deer in the headlights. The fast pace, noise and traffic just seem to startle my friends when we go into the controlled recklessness flowing through the streets of Manhattan. Growing up right near New York it has always been my playground, and perhaps something I took for granted as I was younger. There is no question in my mind New York is the best city and offers the most and best of whatever your desire be. If great food is your forte, well the best chefs thrive in the alleys, nightlife? The city has the best you will find and you will continue to find new hot clubs, concerts? almost every artist considers New York their favorite venue, sports? Come on the Yankee’s and the Mets The Giants and the Jets? Oh, and lets not forget New York Broadway Theater, the best musicals, plays and shows anywhere!

So with so much to do it is no wonder why friends become

Great Tips for Procuring your New York Jets Tickets

New York Jets Tickets

The New York Jets play in the Eastern Division of the American Football Conference in the National Football League (NFL), and play their home games at the Giants Stadium, which is also home to the other professional football team of New York – the New York Giants. The Jets, however, prefer calling their base The Meadowlands, as the stadium bears the name of their rival NFL team. The Giants Stadium is located in the Meadowlands Sports Complex, a massive complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

At present, the New York Jets train on Long Island, at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Their new training facility as well as their corporate headquarters is coming up at Florham Park, New Jersey.

Detroit Lions Tickets – Coaching Search Narrows

The Detroit Lions made history this season, but not in a good way. They became the only team in all of NFL history to finish the season 0-16. While this record wasn’t one that team’s fight for, it did equal some hope for fans as it meant the team would have to go for a major overhaul in the offseason. First, they fired president Matt Millen midway through the season. Coach Rod Marinelli knew he was next, and sure enough, the Lions cut him loose at the end of the season. Other teams who dropped their coaches at the end of the season, like the Cleveland Browns and the Denver Broncos, have already chosen replacements, and the Lions seem to be getting closer to picking their next leader as well. Two of the front runners seem to be Todd Bowles and Jim Schwartz. Be there for the next era with Detroit Lions tickets from http://www.stubhub.com/detroit-lions-tickets.

Schwartz has reportedly already been back for a second interview with the Lions, which means a

NFL Tickets – Cracking Down on Character

Some professional athletes think they’re invincible; they feel as though they play by different rules than the rest of us in life.  Contrary to what they may have convinced themselves of, despite all the money, fame and fanfare, they have to abide by the same rules in their everyday lives as we do, and there are consequences for their actions.  It’s common knowledge that star athletes are protected for much of their young lives, perhaps never more than when they’re in college.

Top players are often treated with kid gloves throughout their collegiate careers, frequently allowed to slide on class attendance and treated like royalty on campus.  This kind of treatment often results in an attitude that reeks of self-entitlement and the feeling that nothing can touch them.  While this isn’t the case with every pro athlete, it certainly applies to some.  Thankfully, the National Football League has been putting their foot down as of late, in the commissioner’s
